Simnet Startup Manager

It can be very frustrating when you turn on your computer, but you have to wait until Windows is done loading a series of applications which are set to run automatically. They slow down the operating system when it starts and they also consume valuable resources while running. Simnet Startup Manager lets you decide which programs are allowed to launch, during the system's startup. Instead of navigating through options panels, for each application, to disable their auto-run features, you can disable them faster, from a single interface.

The size of the installation package is less than one Mb. If you are in a hurry, you can rush blindly through the setup process, because there are no advanced settings to make along the way. You can use Simnet Startup Manager on Windows XP, Vista and Win 7, without affecting your computer's performance.

There are multiple sections, on the software's interface, but only one of them contains the options you need. The Status section displays the number of startup programs and the number of disabled ones, as well as your operating system's version and the date when you last managed the applications. A large button, located on the same page, will take you to the Manage section, where you can disable or enable startup programs. Alternatively, you can access this section by clicking one of the navigation buttons, on the left side of the interface.

The Manage section consists of a list with all startup applications. They are detected automatically, so there is no need to browse for any .exe files. The small buttons, next to each entry, allow you to disable the startup feature of the listed programs or delete their entries. Disabled applications are listed on a separate list and you can access it by clicking one of the arrow icons, in the upper right corner of the interface. They are listed the same way and you can enable them at any time.
